Setup and Troubleshooting Economizer Controls – March 20, 2018 3PM

  • In-depth look at Honeywell’s W7459A, W7212A, and the W7220 (JADE) logics and their sensors
  • Overview of every aspect of the economizer, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Review the installation and setup procedures necessary to properly and efficiently install the Commercial and Residential/Light Commercial Economizers.

Bob officially began his career in the HVAC Industry while working for General Electric in 1973, when he attended a week-long training seminar in Tyler, TX (the now TRANE facility). After his time with GE, and several college courses, he took a job with a local contractor to get experience as a residential/light commercial service technician and installer.

After several years, he went to work for an HVAC Wholesale Company in Boise, ID where he took on the responsibility as their Field Service Representative; also holding responsibilities of Inside Parts Sales, Warranty Administration, and Training.

In 1986 Bob moved to Portland, OR to become the Branch Manager for a new office his company was opening. In 1993 he went to work for Gensco in their Portland Branch, eventually becoming a Branch Manager in Tigard. After a couple of years in Tigard, he left Gensco to pursue an opportunity with Albina Wholesale and remained their Field Service Representative for Rheem through the Gensco/Albina merger.

Bob left Gensco at the end of 2007 and, for the past 10 years, Bob has provided a much needed field experience to the Engineering and Sales Teams at MicroMetl Corp. Bob currently woks in the Engineering Department as part of the New Product Development Team.tial/Light Commercial Economizers.
